Fitness Year ‘Round

This cold snap has us thinking about ways to stay active through the fall and winter. Here are some out-of-the-box ideas for ya.  Got others?  Add them to our list, in the comments!

image1). Don’t work out, play out! If the idea of exercising seems daunting, maybe playing in the fall leaves or going ice skating is more appealing – and just happens to burn calories 🙂

2). Dancing. Asheville has so many great dance scenes, from blues to swing to salsa to tango… Hit a club or sign up for a dance series.

3). Try a fitness class!  Of course, we’re partial to our GOBudo fitness classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays, because it’s like fitness with a purpose!  (I.e. learnin some kick-#*! moves).  But you may already belong to a gym with a lineup of other classes as well.  The key is really in finding the right instructor that clicks for you!
